Colonial Games or high tech?

You might have seen these pictures in the programming blog, but I wanted to take a different way to see them. The children pictured are having fun playing with simple toys, not high tech toys. At the program we had several different board games, hop scotch(pictured), and other games of agility and coordination. Early games taught agility, coordination and social interaction. While today's high tech video games might teach coordination and agility, they do not do much for social interaction. Children do not need the latest video games to have fun, none of the games we played needed a computer or electricity, just some metal or physical effort.
